So mostly every time I hear people saying are you emo? Or stuff like that it bugs me because I'm not. I sometimes wear a black sweater cause I'm cold and it has a logo of the high school im going to. I dyed my hair black cause I wanted a change. But that's really the only thing. I have some black shirts because I like the color on me. Not because I don't like pink red etc. black just looks better on me than bright colors cause I don't have a perfect figure. I don't cut myself or anything but I don't understand why people say I'm emo. My niece and nephew Said i was. What the hell do they mean by this??

What's your opinion on ''emo/scene'' teenagers?
Stereotypical emo person Teased, puffy hair, usually dyed a very unnatural color for that person, with a choppy style haircut. Wears lots of eyeliner and dark makeup, dresses in lots of black. Band tees Usually that screamo crap , piercings, black nails, converse, skinny jeans, etc. etc. ETC. Cuts them self because they're ''depressed'' and ''hate life'' They think everyone is against them because they're ''unique, different, have their own style'' when in reality, they're not that ''unique'' if they're following a stereotypical, subcultured division made by the ones who are ''against them''. They're are lots of ''emos'' at my school, and I'm even friends with a few of them. In my opinion And I could care less if you agree with me. That's great you can think for yourself good for you Moving on. they just want attention. They're just normal people, in my eyes, that crave negative attention, so they can go home, cut, and convince themselves the world is out to get them. Just like the girls who run around all exposed to get attention from boys, and then whine on Facebook about the kid who called them a insert word of choice here . Sometimes the logic of some people doesn't make any sense..Well whatever, sorry about this little ''rant'' I have no life and I was bored. What's your thoughts on the subject?

Some kids at my school think im emo. The term for emo i understand is Someone who cuts themselves, is depressed, etc. I sometimes like to' just be a loner and be' in a dark place and i dont really like talking to' people. I'm emo. Crazy emo. I love it. It's how I express myself. I wear mainly black, skinny jeans, converse, my hair dyed black in my face, eyeliner, makeup, piercings, etc. I love the music too. I'm not obsessed, or deperessed, it's just how I am and how I express myself. My mom thinks I have problems, and my dad constantly insults me and my family makes fun of me. I hate it. Why can't they just let me be who I am? How to I explain to them and how do I get them to stop making fun of me ?
